چکیده

Histamine, which is a naturally occurring chemical in seafood, known to cause undesirable inflammatory response when consumed large amounts. Histamine produced unsafe amounts colored seafood improperly stored for just few hours. Food and health regulatory bodies across the world have guidelines limiting amount of histamine fresh as well processed seafood. Conventional detection performed testing labs, slow process results bottlenecks supply-chain system. A system rapidly detect levels on site very desirable suppliers. Herein, we describe an impedance-based sensor built flexible substrate that can range 100–500 ppm. Moreover, our discriminates presence DL-histidine other biogenic amines, with selectivity provided by molecular imprinting technology. As proof concept, smartphone controlled, portable semi-quantitative sensing device was fabricated gave out reliable different test solutions real We believe this technology be extended towards determination food contaminants aqueous solutions.

Ultratrace Detection of Histamine Using a Molecularly-Imprinted Polymer-Based Voltammetric Sensor

Rapid and cost-effective analysis of histamine, in food, environmental, and diagnostics research has been of interest recently. However, for certain applications, the already-existing biological receptor-based sensing methods have usage limits in terms of stability and costs. As a result, robust and cost-effective imprinted polymeric receptors can be the best alternative. In the present work, m...

Selective Recognition and Detection of L-Aspartic Acid by Molecularly Imprinted Polymer in Aqueous Solution

Molecularly imprinted polymers selective for L-aspartic acid (LAA) have been prepared using the carboxybetaine polymer bearing zwitterionic centres along the backbone. LAA is well known to promote good metabolism, treat fatigue and depression along with its significance in accurate age estimation in the field of forensic science and is an important constituent of ‘aspartame’, the low calorie sw...

Molecularly Imprinted Polymer for Serotonin Recognition

Serotonin (5-hydroxytryptamine) is a biogenic amine that acts as a neurotransmitter in the central and peripheral nervous systems [1]. It is present in a variety of organisms, ranging from humans to species such as worms that have primitive nervous systems [2], and mediates a variety of physiological responses in distinct cell types. It is believed to play a role in the regulation of various co...
